Beautiful panoramas, miles of walks and the endless sea - an active holiday couldn't be more perfect than that! Now I collected the most beautiful seaside hiking trails of Europe. Enjoy!

Es Vedra, Ibiza, Spain

At the south-western corner of Ibiza, in the immediate vicinity of the Sa Pedrera de Cala D'Hort rock formations, there's a walkway from Es Cubells to the end of Es Vedra - I have to say, the end of the trip is so beautiful, you almost can't believe it! It's important to mention that the "hiking trail" is almost all along goes with the motorway, so if you are not a fan of that or prefer visit these panoramic view by car, you can easily do that. The sun-drenched panorama from the Mirador de I'lla d'Es Vedra can be found at the end of the hiking path, which is around 100 meters from the small parking area of the Aparacament Vedra. It's worth a visit (or two) for sure!

St. Lawrence Peninsula, Madeira, Portugal

Madeira is on my travel list for so long! When I decided to write an article like this, I immediately knew that this beautiful island will be in it - but since there are so many panoramic hiking trails there, it was difficult to choose only one.
St. Lawrence Peninsula probably have one of the best coastal walkways in the island: the PR8 path is located in the north-east of the island, on a protected area, so you can expect not less but amazing plants, trees and more than 200 special flowers during your trip! However the trail is only 4 km long (it takes around 2 hour not more), the view is absolutely amazing: you can see the whole Atlantic Ocean and another tiny island close to Madeira, called Porto Santo Island. Would love to go there!

South West Coast Path, United Kingdom

The South West Coast Trail in Englad is one of the longest hiking trail in Europe - it's 1013 km long, so unless you can't fly, you need at least one month to walk away on it's all. Starting from Minehead til the small city of Poole (near Bournemouth) is kinda popular between backpacking tourists, but since it takes a lot of time, you definitely have to camp during your trip. The best view during the path is probably this beautiful panorama from the Exmoore National Park to this nice beach.

Walk of Gods, Positano, Italy

Positano is no doubt to be one of the most beautiful parts of Italy - here you can have an amazing 12 km long trail, where you can see the lovely beach of Salerno to the beautiful island of Capri. However it sound nice, the trip is not so easy, especially if you start it from the direction of Praiano, where you have to take more than 1000 steps up to get to the main route. I guess you better start it from the west side!

Samaria Gorge, Crete

The Samaria Nature Reserve in the western part of Crete is full of with beautiful panoramas! However it's not a free hike (you have to pay € 5/person for the entrance) you can enjoy a very beautiful walk from sunrise til sunset! The most famous hike in the nature reserve is 18 km long - it begins at 1230 meters and ends on a small seaside village called Agia Roumeli. You can have views like this during your trip - so beautiful!

Causeway Coastal Path, Northern Ireland

I've been dreaming to an Irish/Scottish vacation for a long time, so after my Madeira trail, I was sure to search an amazing one in this area too! Would LOVE to visit the Causeway Coastal Path - by car, by train, on footstep or even with all! - where the world's most beautiful natural attractions are settling. You can see the Giant's Way, the caves of Cushedunt and Portstewart, the Dunluce Castle and many more.... The whole path is 53 km long, but as I said, it's easy to reach this beautiful coastal path by car, since the towns of Portballintrae and Bushmills are very close.
